By using this site you agree to these terms. They're short and written to be read.
1. The service
BP Tools provides free, browser-based utilities — text checkers, PDF tools, image tools, generators and calculators. The tools process your data locally on your device; we don't receive your files or text. The service is provided free of charge and without an account.
2. Acceptable use
You agree to use the tools only for lawful purposes and only on content you own or are authorized to work with. In particular:
- The Unlock PDF tool is for removing protection from documents using a password you legitimately hold — not for attempting to access documents you have no right to open.
- The plagiarism checker and AI detector provide statistical signals; you agree not to present their output as conclusive proof of misconduct by any person.
- You will not attempt to disrupt the site, scrape it abusively, or use it to distribute malware or unlawful content.
3. No warranty
The tools are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We work hard on accuracy, but we do not warrant that any tool's output — conversions, scores, calculations, encrypted files — will be error-free or fit for a particular purpose. Always review important outputs (a converted document, a calculated EMI, an encrypted file you can still open) before relying on them.
4. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BP Tools and its operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages — including lost data, lost profits, or losses arising from reliance on tool output. Your sole remedy for dissatisfaction with the site is to stop using it. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
5. Important reminders for specific tools
- Protect PDF: encryption has no recovery. If you forget a password, the file is permanently inaccessible — that is how strong encryption works.
- Calculators (EMI, BMI, percentage, age): results are general information, not financial, medical or legal advice. Consult a qualified professional for decisions that matter.
- Checkers: plagiarism and AI-detection results are indicators requiring human judgement.
6. Intellectual property
The site's design, text and code are owned by BP Tools or used under license (the site is built on respected open-source libraries, each under its own license). Content you process with the tools remains entirely yours — we claim no rights over it and, as described in the privacy policy, we never receive it.
7. Advertising
The site may display third-party advertising (such as Google AdSense) to remain free. Advertisers are responsible for their own content; a product's appearance in an ad is not our endorsement.
8. Changes and contact
