This policy explains what information is and isn't collected when you use BP Tools, in plain language.
1. Your files and text are never uploaded
Every tool on this site — the plagiarism checker, AI detector, word counter, all PDF tools, image tools, generators and calculators — runs entirely inside your web browser on your own device. The documents you open, the text you paste, and the passwords you enter for PDF encryption are never transmitted to, stored on, or seen by our servers. When you close the page, that data is gone. We could not hand your files to anyone even if asked, because we never possess them.
2. What we do collect
Like nearly all websites, our hosting infrastructure may record standard server logs when pages and assets are loaded: your IP address, browser type, the page requested, and the time. These logs are used only for security and to keep the site running, and are not combined with any tool usage — as noted above, what you do inside a tool never reaches us.
If you email us, we receive your email address and message and use them only to reply.
3. Cookies and local storage
The site stores one small preference in your browser's local storage: your light/dark theme choice. It never leaves your device. We do not set tracking cookies ourselves. Third-party services described below may set their own cookies.
4. Advertising (Google AdSense)
We may display advertisements served by Google AdSense to keep the site free. Google and its partners use advertising cookies to serve ads based on your visits to this and other websites. Specifically:

The site is a general-audience utility site and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The tools require no account and no personal details to use.
7. Your rights

8. Changes to this policy
